How to Find AAHA Veterinary Hospitals

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), founded in 1933, offers accreditation to small-animal hospitals that meet certain criteria. The AAHA offers sets of guidelines to participating animal hospitals on topics such as pain management in dogs and cats, dental care and vaccines. There are more than 6,000 veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada that hold AAHA certification, and it is easy to find the one closest to you.
