Arsenicum album 6x, a low-potency homeopathic remedy, is suggested for the treatment of a poor coat as well as dry, flaky skin. The treatment is to be given to your dog for a period of three days at a dosage of two pellets every four hours three times daily. You should not give your dog food for 10 minutes before or after giving him this homeopathic remedy. After the three days of dosing, you cease giving the dog the treatment for three days and return to dosing for another three days. You should give your dog Arsenicum album 6x for a total of 15 times in a 30-day period to alleviate canine seborrhea dermatitis.

This remedy helps to reduce skin inflammation, to diminish the odorous condition associated with canine seborrhea dermatitis and to eliminate waxy-looking wounds that discharge fluids. Thuja occidentalis 30, a medium-potency homeopathic remedy, can be offered to your dog as a crushed powder. Take three pellets and crush them; place the resulting powder on your dog's tongue. This dosage is to be given only one time. Wait 30 days before repeating the dosage, if necessary. Food should not be offered to your dog for an hour before or after this homeopathic treatment.
