How to Trim your Schnauzers Eyebrows

The Schnauzer has eyebrows that need frequent attention. To make your dog more comfortable and able to see better trimming the eyebrows will spruce the dog up until its next grooming appointment.

Things You'll Need

  • Pointed Grooming Scissors
  • Metal Comb
  • Good Lighting

      Use either a grooming table or any type of table to bring the dog up to your level. Use good lighting and start by combing the dogs eyebrows. The eyebrows need to be cut in an angled position which gives it a styled look. Schnauzer eyebrows need trimming approximately every six weeks.

      Start by combing the eyebrows in a forward position and cutting inward from the corner of the eye. Visualize an angled cutting position and start cutting from the inside corner of the eye outward.

      After cutting the eyebrows comb them outward to see if they're even. When they look similar in length and angle then your done and the dog will have a nice sleek look again.
