If you own a small dog, you may have considered purchasing clothing for it. With a little creativity and some basic sewing skills, you can craft original and personal pieces of clothing for your pet that will come handy in all seasons and weather. Clothing can be tailor-made for certain holidays or events throughout the year. Experiment with different styles and ideas to see what makes your dog most comfortable.

  1. Jackets

    • If you spend a lot of time outdoors with your dog, making a warm jacket for it to wear can help it keep snug in colder weather. Craft a jacket from old sweaters, fleece fabric, fake sheepskin or a woven blanket. You may also want to make your dog a waterproof jacket for rainy days.
