Pour 1/3 cup glycerin, 1 cup organic liquid hand dish washing soap and 1 cup apple cider vinegar into a bowl. Stir the three ingredients with a spoon.

Lemons are a natural freshener with insect repelling properties.

Add 10 drops lemon essential oil and stir it in with the spoon. Lemon is a natural deodorizer and also repels fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, providing your dog with relief from petsy insects, if needed.

    • 3

Substitute 10 drops of tea tree oil for the lemon essential oil if your dog has any skin irritations. Tea tree oil has natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties and will help soothe the dog's irritated skin.

    • 4

Pour the organic dog shampoo into a plastic bottle with a cap. Store in a cabinet or pantry until ready to use. Shake the organic dog shampoo prior to each use.
