Instructions
Cut out eight pieces of fabric in a silo shape, a rectangle with a curved top. The shape should measure 7 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide.
Cut the Velcro into four 4-inch pieces.
Lay the scratchy side of the Velcro on the right side of four different pieces of fabric, 4 1/2 inches from the curved end of the fabric piece. It should fit right in the middle, with just a little strip of fabric showing on either side of the Velcro.
Sew the Velcro in place.
Lay these four pieces of fabric on the table with the Velcro side facing up.
Lay the soft side of the Velcro on top of the scratchy Velcro, with the soft side facing up. You do not want the Velcro parts to stick to each other at this point.
Lay the piece of fabric on top of these, with the right side facing down.
Sew the boot, starting at the straight edge, going up, around the curve and back down to the straight edge. Be sure to catch the soft Velcro on one side, but not both, and leave the straight edge open.
Open the boot and turn the straight edge down.
Top stitch the folded-down edge.
Put the boots on your dog's feet and wrap the soft piece of Velcro tight around the foot, attaching it to the scratchy side of the Velcro.
