Information on Quick Track Dog Collars

Quick track offers five different collars, as well as custom collars, for hunters to use to track their dogs out in the field. Each collar comes in a different color to coordinate with the channel it operates on through the receiver. All Quick Track collars feature a sealed, waterproof transmitter and a magnetic shut off switch to deactivate the collar. All tracking collars require an antenna and receiver, and perform best in flat areas. Signal range and reception is reduced in areas with thick underbrush, hills and mountains.

  1. Model QTC-XL

    • The QTC-XL features a sealed battery, which is expected to last six to eight years, at which time the collar can be reconditioned and serviced. This collar is considered a long-range collar, with a non-corrosive, stainless steel antenna. The QTC-XL comes with a full one-year warranty, during which time the collar will be replaced or repaired at no additional charge.

    Model QTS-XL

    • The QTS-XL features a sealed battery with an expected life of six to eight years, as well as a stainless steel antenna. The collar is lighter in weight then the QTC-XL and has an extended range, up to 50% more than the long range of the QTC. The QTS-XL comes with a full three-year warranty.

    Model QTXD

    • The QTXD allows hunters to choose between disposable 123 A lithium batteries and rechargeable batteries. The disposable lithium batteries give the collar around 700 hours of use. Rechargeable batteries and battery chargers are also available. The QTXD collar has a tracking range of five to seven miles. The collar includes a one-year warranty.

    Model QTXR

    • The QTXR comes with a rechargeable battery and battery charger that charges in three hours. Once fully charged, the battery will hold its charge for approximately two months. The rechargeable battery can be charged approximately 500 times before needing to be replaced. The collar will also run on a disposable battery. The QTXR comes with the battery and charger.

    Ultra-Light

    • Weighing only 3.9 ounces, the Ultra-Light model is the lightest tracking collar available from Quick Track. Powered by a coin cell battery, the collar will run for approximately 7 to 10 days before needing to change the battery. The Ultra-Light has a range of approximately three to five miles. This collar is ideal for small hunting dogs and hunting short distances. The collar comes with 12 spare batteries and a one-year warranty.
