Bacteria-Eating Cleaning Products for Dog Urine
The best way to kill the bacteria that causes pet stains and odor is to saturate the area with an enzymatic cleaner. Using cleaners that do not contain enzymes to eat the bacteria will only increase the problem. Enzymatic cleaners must be used correctly to be effective. Stains and odor on carpet will affect a much larger area below the surface than what can be seen on top, so the key with any enzymatic cleaner is to saturate a much larger and deeper area than the surface shows.
