Instructions
Set out your doggy step pieces on a flat work surface like a tabletop or the floor.
Pile similar pieces together. There should be several flat pieces that look like steps, and should be two triangle-shaped pieces that look like the sides of a staircase. There might be a fleece covering as well. Some doggy step sets will come with screws or bolts, but most will not.
Lay one of the triangle shaped pieces down on the work surface so the flat or "outside" side is facing down.
Find the slots or grooves where the flat step pieces, and flat back-of-step pieces should slide.
Slide in the flat step pieces first. If there are perpendicular pieces attached to these, to form the back-of-step pieces, they will connect. If not, find the flat back-of-step pieces and slide them into the slots.
Attach screws or bolts, if your doggy steps came with these.
Pull the fleece cover over top of the steps, and secure it at the bottom with the tie-downs or the pieces of elastic attached to the fleece cover.
How to Assemble Doggy Steps
Most doggy steps come with snap-together pieces that anyone can assemble. Even if you have lost your instructions for doggy steps, or have purchased the pieces second-hand without instructions, you can put them together in just a few steps.
