Instructions

    • 1

Draw a shape for your pet tag on a sheet of shrinky dink paper: rectangle, circle, bone, etc. Make it twice as large as you want it to look hanging from your pet's collar.

    • 2

Color it in with colored pencils and write down any identifying information.

    • 3

Cut out the shape with scissors and punch a hole in the top for the keychain to go through.

    • 4

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Place your plastic pet tag on a cookie sheet and bake it in the oven for one minute. Watch the pet tag closely and time it. It will shrink and harden, but should not curl.

Remove the pet tag after one minute and allow it to cool. Thread a round keychain ring through the hole and place it on a pet collar.
