Instructions

    • 1

Start by removing any solid waste. Use a paper towel or several tissues that can be disposed of immediately after you pick up the waste. Even though you're not touching the waste with your hands, it's still very smart to wash your hands after you have done this.

    • 2

Dry the area with different paper towels. Blot the wet areas with the paper towels, as wiping the area could make it much more difficult to remove the stains.

    • 3

Spray the stained area with the pet stain/odor remover. Be sure to spray the entire area and get the area fully saturated. These cleaners can be purchased in any pet store.

    • 4

Allow the cleaner to sit on the carpet for about five minutes.

    • 5

Wipe the carpet with other paper towels. Do this until the area is mostly dry.

    • 6

Examine the carpet. If you notice any stains or discoloration, you should repeat Steps 3 to 5.
