Instructions
Lay two treated boards that are 4 feet long flat on the ground parallel to each other so that the outer edges are 3-feet apart. These will create the sides of the gate that will be 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide.
Spread the welded wire across the boards so that the edges of the welded wire line up with all four edges of the 4-foot long boards.
Place one 3-foot treated board across the bottom, one across the top, and the other two spaced evenly apart between them. These boards should cover the welded wire and align with the edges of the 4-foot long treated boards underneath the welded wire.
Screw four 2-inch screws in a square pattern at each intersection. You screw each side of each 3-foot long board through the welded wire fence and into the 4-foot sides underneath. This encloses the welded wire between the boards to prevent it from coming loose.
Attach the four 2-inch hinges to one side of the gate, spaced evenly using the 1-inch screws, and then attach the hinges to the dog pen. Attach the sliding bolt to the other side of the dog pen gate using 1-inch screws and then attach the bolt to the the dog pen.
