How to Make Hangers for Dog Clothes

If your pampered pooch has a wardrobe of clothing, keep the pieces looking nice by storing them on hangers made just for dog clothes. These hangers are cheap, easy to make and sized to hang in any closet.

Things You'll Need

  • Jumbo craft sticks
  • Chenille stems
  • 20-gauge florist stem wire
  • Wire cutter
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hanger

Instructions

      Cut 2 pieces of florist stem wire that are 12 inches long. Twist together 4 12-inch chenille stems and 2 pieces of florist wire in a 6-inch twist. Leave the remaining 6 inches free.

      Using the top of a standard hanger as a model, shape the twisted section into a hook. Divide the loose sections of wire in half and bend them outward to each side.

      Glue the tops of 2 craft sticks together so that the sticks angle downward slightly in an upside down, wide V shape.

      Glue the separated, loose pieces of wire to the craft sticks (see Fig. 1.)

      Glue 2 more craft sticks to the first set, sandwiching the wire between the sticks.
