Use a spatula or a spoon to carefully remove the solid waste from the bedspread. Be sure to scrape off as much of the waste as possible without spreading it around.
Step 2: Flush with cold water
Place the bedspread in a bathtub or sink and flush it with cold water. The cold water will help to break down the enzymes in the waste and make it easier to remove.
Step 3: Apply a stain remover
Apply a stain remover to the affected area. Be sure to follow the instructions on the stain remover bottle.
Step 4: Wash the bedspread
Wash the bedspread in the washing machine on the highest setting possible. Add detergent and bleach to the wash cycle.
Step 5: Dry the bedspread
Dry the bedspread on the highest setting possible.
Step 6: Inspect the bedspread
Inspect the bedspread to make sure that the stain is gone. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 3-6.
