1. Feed them. Puppies should be breastfed for the first six to eight weeks of life. If you are unable to breastfeed your puppies, you will need to bottle feed them with commercially available puppy formula. Puppies should be fed every two to four hours.
2. Water them. Puppies need to have access to fresh water at all times.
3. Clean them. Puppies should be kept clean and free of dirt and debris. You can bathe them with a mild shampoo for puppies every few weeks.
4. Groom them. Brush their coats regularly to remove any dirt, debris or loose dead hair. Their claws will also grow longer and will need to be trimmed every few weeks.
5. Exercise them. Puppies need exercise to stay healthy. They should be allowed to play outdoors for at least 30 minutes each day.
6. Socialize them. Puppies should be socialized with humans and other animals. They should be exposed to different people, places, and things so that they learn how to behave in the world.
7. Train them. Puppies should be trained to obey basic commands. This will help them to behave well in society.
8. Take them to the veterinarian for regular checkups. Puppies should be seen by the veterinarian at least once a month. This is important for keeping them healthy and for monitoring their development.
