Instructions

    • 1

Remove the old bed cover, lay it out flat and take measurements for length, depth and width.

    • 2

Wash the fleece to allow for shrinkage in the wash and to remove and dirt, grit and grease.

    • 3

Cut out two pieces of fleece that will serve as the two halves of the cover. Add an extra inch to the depth measurement to allow for sewing and the application of the zipper.

    • 4

Sew the two halves together using a needle and thread or a sewing machine, leaving one side open for the zipper. Use heavy-duty thread so the dog cannot easily pull it apart.

    • 5

Attach the zipper to the open edge of the fleece cover. Be sure it is facing the right direction.
