Instructions
Place a 2 1/4-inch length of pipe in one end of an L-joint. Fit a T-joint over the end of this pipe, in the straight end of the T. Don't glue anything yet. Make four of these units, as they're the feet of the teeter.
Insert a 1-foot length of pipe into the L-joint on a foot. Lie the joint and pipe on the ground, point the T-junction upward. Connect another foot to the pipe in the same fashion. Repeat to make two units.
Join the two foot units with pipes between the upward-facing ends of the T-joints. They should form a square when you lie it down.
Insert 12-inch pipes into the tops of the T-joints.
Make a straight pipe using two 5-1/2-inch pipes and a T-joint. Cap both ends of the pipe with an L-joint. Make two of these teeter arm pieces.
Slide a 12-inch pipe inside the 1 1/4-inch pipe. Place the two teeter arms on both ends of the 12-inch pipe. This should make an H-shaped piece.
Place the L-joints on the ends of the piece onto the 12-inch pipes coming up out of the foot pieces. This forms a complete box-shaped teeter base.
Glue all of the pieces of the base together.
Flip the base over, and place the 1 1/4-inch piece of pipe on the underside of your teeter top, and attach it to the base. Plumber's straps screwed into the base of the teeter platform create a solid connection between the two pieces.
