How fast do puppies run?

It's difficult to give a definitive speed for how fast puppies run because it depends on many factors:

* Breed: Some breeds are naturally faster than others. For example, a Greyhound puppy will be significantly faster than a Bulldog puppy.

* Age: Puppies are still developing their muscles and coordination, so their speed will increase as they grow. A 4-week-old puppy will be much slower than a 6-month-old puppy.

* Individual variation: Even within the same breed, puppies can have different levels of athleticism. Some puppies are naturally more energetic and agile than others.

* Health and fitness: A healthy and fit puppy will be faster than a puppy who is overweight or has health problems.

General Estimates:

* Very young puppies (under 8 weeks): They are more focused on exploring and playing than running fast. They might reach short bursts of speed up to a few miles per hour.

* Puppies between 8-12 weeks: They become more coordinated and can reach speeds of 5-10 miles per hour.

* Puppies between 12-16 weeks: They are gaining more muscle and can reach speeds of 10-15 miles per hour.

Important Note: Don't push your puppy to run too fast or for too long, especially when they are young. Their bones and joints are still developing and can be easily injured.
