Instructions
Get your puppies used to a daily routine. You more than likely have your own routine, and you can structure the puppies' routine around yours. Set up a schedule of when the dogs will eat, play and go out for bathroom breaks.
Put the puppies in a crate or den when it is nap time. This way they will not be tempted to play and will get used to napping at the proper time.
Find out when the puppies are most playful and schedule play time accordingly. Puppies are usually most active during dusk and dawn. Take the puppies out to play fetch or Frisbee or to walk in the park. This is a good time to practice obedience training.
Hire a dog walker to take your puppies out if you don't have the time. Or put them in the backyard and let them play together.
Give your puppies toys or bones to chew on. This will help keep them busy for a little while.
Be patient and avoid yelling. Loud noises like shouting or banging will cause the puppies to get agitated and will make them more hyper. Stay calm and be consistent with the puppies.
How to Deal With Hyper Puppies
Puppies are cuddly and adorable, but they can be extremely hyperactive. They are little balls of energy, and you may have a hard time keeping up. Get your puppies into a daily routine so they know when it's time to eat sleep and play. Taking your puppies out for regular walks or to play fetch will also help to calm them down. Be patient and try different things to see what works.
