Introducing a new pet into a household takes a coordinated effort to make all of your animals feel as comfortable as possible and make sure they are not threatened by each other. It is best to introduce the animals in a neutral space like a park or another house so they can learn about each other and enter the house that they will share together. When you bring home a new animal, keep it separate from other pets until the new animal can explore the area and gain trust with the house and with other pets.
