How to Troubleshoot an Innotek FS-15

Managing your pet at all times protects you, him and others with whom he comes in contact. Jumping, barking and running out of bounds are behaviors you can curb using the FS-15 Basic Remote Trainer. When the remote does not work properly, you need to troubleshoot and fix it fast. Otherwise, all the hard work both you and your pet put in could be jeopardized. Follow a few easy troubleshooting techniques to figure out the problem.

      Check the batteries if the FS-15's collar and transmitter do not synchronize. Verify that each battery is the correct size and type and is positioned correctly.

      Use another magnet with the collar if the transmitter does not turn the collar on or off.

      Verify that contact can be made with the metal on the dog collar if programming is being lost.

      Turn the collar on or off if you notice problems with the probes. If the problem is not solved, contact Innotek for additional support.
