Instructions for an Innotek SD-70

Innotek manufactures pet training collars to help you teach your dog the difference between appropriate behavior and bad behavior. The SD-70 includes a small featherweight receiver for small breed and toy breed dogs. You can reward your pet with a good audible tone and a treat to the dog commands and reprimand the dog with a bad audible tone and stimulation for bad behavior.

Instructions

    • 1

Thread the receiver onto the dog collar through the two channels. Place the collar on your pet and adjust the length so that you can place one finger between the collar and your dog on the side of his neck.

    • 2

Swivel counterclockwise the receiver cover on the bottom to open it. Insert a 12-volt battery, and swivel the cover clockwise to close it.

    • 3

Swivel the receiver cover to the "On" position and press the "Good" tone button within 30 seconds to synchronize the receiver on the collar and the transmitter.

    • 4

Press the "Good" tone button when your dog properly follows a command and follow the tone with a treat or some kibble. This accentuates the tone so the dog quickly identifies the "Good" tone with a reward.

    • 5

Press a correction button from "1" to "4" to reprimand your pet with a bad tone and stimulation. You can change the reprimand length by pressing and quickly releasing the button for a short stimulation or hold it for up to 10 seconds for a longer stimulation. A pulsing green light illuminates on the transmitter when stimulation is received by the collar.
