Instructions

    • 1

Allow your dog to smell the type of drug that you want him to find. Give a command to bark, or scratch when he sniffs the drug. This will be the indication that he found the drug.

    • 2

Hide a pack of the drugs underneath some pillows when the dog is not looking. Allow your dog to wander around the area and then give the command to search for the drug.

    • 3

When he finds the right pillow reveal the drugs and let him sniff them again and reward him with a treat. Repeat this process several times until he understands that he is supposed to find the drugs. Then begin hiding it in more difficult to find spots such as in closets or in counter drawers.
