Power Jack
-
The power jack is an electrical outlet connector for the device's accompanying 12-volt AC transformer. Once the transformer is inserted into a 110-volt AC two-prong power outlet and plugged into the transmitter's power jack, the LED indicator on the top of the device will light up green.
Signal Field Adjustment Knob
-
The signal field adjustment knob operates the width transmitter's wireless omnidirectional signal field or the distance from the transmitter to the computerized dog collar. Turning the knob in a clockwise direction decreases the distance while turning it counter-clockwise increases the field radius, giving the dog more free rein.
7k-10k Switch
-
The 7k-10k switch allows the dog collar to operate at either 7 or 10 kilowatts of energy. Flipping the switch to the left sets the transmitter to 7 kilowatts while flipping it to the right sets the transmitter to 10 kilowatts.
