How to Program a Pet Stop Collar

The Pet Stop collar stops your pet from moving beyond a preset boundary. This system essentially consists of a small wire buried under the soil in your yard at a distance you choose. The wire is connected to a transmitter unit which conveys a radio signal. There's a computerized collar to be placed around the pet's neck. Anytime it ventures very close to the wire, the collar senses the signal and the animal is given a brief correction. The animal soon gets conditioned to this and avoids that area, ensuring that it keeps out of harm's way.

    • 1

Press the tab on the lower side of the radio signal transmitter to remove the outer cover. This reveals a small board with a few buttons and a number display.

    • 2

Hold down the training button located on the extreme right of the board. Press until the display unit shows the number 98.

    • 3

Bring your pet's collar close to the transmitter and position it such that the light at the top of the collar glows.

    • 4

Hold down the top button of the transmitter unit and count the number of flashes emitted by the collar. This number indicates the level your pet's collar is set to. So if the collar flashes four times, it indicates a setting to level four.

    • 5

Press the top button of the transmitter unit once and count the number of flashes the collar emits if you wish to increase the level. This number should have increased by one compared to the previous time.

    • 6

Press the button at the bottom of the transmitter once and count the number of flashes on the collar to decrease the level. If this is one less than the previous number of flashes, it confirms you've reduced the signal by one level.
