2090 Ultra-Min-e No Bark Trainer
-
The waterproof 2090 Ultra-Min-e No Bark Trainer is suitable for both big and small dogs. The sensor has eight different intensity levels and operates using a 6-volt battery. To ensure your dog's safety, the collar's vibration sensor was designed to only detect vocal cord vibrations and not the sounds made by other nearby barking dogs. The collar also has a three-second safety delay so your dog isn't punished for letting out a single startled yelp. When the device is set off by your dog's barking it activates a 1/2-second corrective stimulation that's recorded into the device's memory along with the intensity setting. This recording allows owners to keep track of which stimulation level works best for their dogs and keeps training consistent.
PetSafe Bark Collar
-
The PetSafe company produces bark collars for little to large dogs. These bark collars use a temperament learning system to coordinate the intensity level of the stimulation with the frequency of the dog's barking. The transmitter's nano-technology is programmed to register only vocal cord vibrations or the sound of your dog's barking. There are 10 different intensity levels of stimulation so it's a good choice for people with stubborn dogs that are prone to resist training.
Tri-Tronics Bark Limiter G3
-
The Tri-Tronics Bark Limiter G3 can only be set off when your dog barks. The collar itself weighs less than 2 oz. and emits only a very mild shock so it's safe for smaller breeds, but will be just as effective on bigger ones. The five stimulation levels can be set according to your dog's breed, size and temperament, which makes training more effective. The collar has a bark counter that tells owners of every corrective stimulation when they are not present. To keep the battery lasting as long as possible (general battery life is 12 months), the collar's transmitter goes into sleep mode when your dog's quiet.

Bark Collars That Work Off Sound & Vibration
Barking dogs can be annoying and owners often use bark collars to train their dogs to be quiet. There are bark collars that are only activated when they detect an actual bark or the vibrations created in the dog's vocal cords. These training collars give the dog only a minor shock when it barks; not enough to hurt the animal, just enough so that the dog learns to associate barking with mild discomfort.
