One program Best Friends Training Center offers is a kindergarten course for puppies, called Puppy Kindergarten. Dogs learn basic manners and how to be a "Canine Good Citizen." Dogs are tested for good behavior, such as accepting a friendly stranger, appearance and grooming, sitting on command, walking through a crowd, sitting politely for petting, and reaction to distraction. This school believes that old dogs can learn new tricks, and offers private training programs for dogs at any age.

The Positive Motivation Dog Training Obedience program enables the dog owner to connect and develop a rewarding relationship with a dog, allowing the owner to continue training the dog as time goes on. A core belief and observation of this school is that a "gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." The Drill Team course focuses on rally and obedience, which is done as a group keeping the dogs in coordination with each other.
