The Woof Pack, located in Hammond, Indiana, is a Police K-9 Training Group. Staff are also providers of the Woof Pack Training Network, which helps provide information on Police K-9 Training as well as information for Police Departments interested in creating their own K-9 Units in Indiana as well as surrounding areas.
Indiana State Police K-9 Program

The Indiana State Police also utilizes a K-9 program as a training ground for police dogs. According to Indiana News Center, trained K-9 teams graduate from a 14-week training program. In June 2010, the K-9 Program graduated four new police dogs assigned to Indiana State Police.

The Indiana State Police K-9 Program as of June 2010 is lead by Master Trainer Robert (Bob) Compton. According to Indiana News Center, Master Trainer Compton has trained more than 1,000 police K-9 teams.

There are various dog trainers located in Indiana. According to the American Police Canine Association, which is located in Bedford, Indiana, it is highly recommended that a Police Service Dog team graduates from an accredited training school.
