Agility Dog Training Courses in the Los Angeles Area

Agility courses for dogs began as a form of entertainment and has since become a popular dog sport. In an agility course, dogs weave through poles, run up and down A-frames, cross suspended dog walks and traverse through tunnels. There are many companies in Los Angeles that offer agility training and have fixed courses or else set up mobile courses in parks.
  1. Jump City

    • Los Angeles Magazine ranked Jump City Agility No. 82 in their Best of LA issue in 2003. It is located in Balboa Park and is a complete training center led by two award-winning trainers. Jump City trainers Cara Callaway and Lisa Dewey teach competition agility, but the courses and classes are intended for competitors as well as recreational students. The agility course is in the Balboa Sports Complex and is a lighted, grass course.
