Instructions
Clean the pet stain thoroughly by rubbing with a cloth soaked in mineral spirits. This will remove any remaining residue from the pet stain. Dry immediately with a clean cloth.
Sand away some of the stain using 100-grit sandpaper and a belt sander.
Replace the 100-grit sandpaper with 150-grit sandpaper and sand the stain again.
Clean up the dust using the hose attachment of your vacuum cleaner or a small portable vacuum cleaner.
Clean the wood floor again with mineral spirits on a cloth and dry immediately.
Check the wood floor. If you can still vaguely see the pet stain, add some bleach to a cloth and lay it over the stain for about five minutes. Rinse with water and dry.
Use 150-grit sandpaper to manually sand the area again to remove any remaining bleach residue.
Apply a matching wood stain to your wood floor using a standard paintbrush. Brush with the grain of the wood and apply a second coat of stain once the first coat dries.
