Which animals have blood?

Animals with blood are called vertebrates. This group includes:

* Mammals: Humans, dogs, cats, whales, bats, etc.

* Birds: Eagles, penguins, sparrows, ostriches, etc.

* Reptiles: Snakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles, etc.

* Amphibians: Frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, etc.

* Fish: Sharks, rays, tuna, goldfish, etc.

All vertebrates have a closed circulatory system, meaning their blood is contained within vessels and is pumped by a heart.

Some invertebrates (animals without backbones) also have blood, but it's often called hemolymph and is not contained within vessels. This includes:

* Arthropods: Insects, spiders, crabs, lobsters, etc.

* Mollusks: Snails, slugs, clams, oysters, etc.

* Annelids: Earthworms, leeches, etc.

It's important to note that hemolymph is not the same as blood. While it carries nutrients and waste products, it doesn't have the same composition or function as blood in vertebrates.
