What are the types of pugs?

There are no different "types" of pugs within the breed.

The Pug is recognized as a single breed by major kennel clubs worldwide, with no variations or sub-breeds.

However, there are some color variations within the Pug breed:

* Fawn: The most common color, ranging from light fawn to a rich, deep fawn.

* Black: Solid black with a slight sheen.

* Brindle: A mix of black and fawn, with a striped pattern.

* Silver: A light fawn color with a silvery sheen.

* Apricot: A light orangey-brown color.

While these are the most common, you may occasionally find other colors like white or blue.

It's important to note that the American Kennel Club only recognizes fawn, black, and brindle as standard colors for show purposes.

While other color variations are accepted as pets, they might not be eligible for breed shows.
