Instructions
Groom your pugapoo daily by brushing its coat. A pugapoo does not shed and has a short coat, sometimes with soft, curly hair, since it is part poodle. Brushing daily will keep its coat from getting matted. Your pugapoo may have folds of skin, like a pug, which will need to be cleaned regularly. A visit to the dog groomer every few months should take care of its grooming needs.
Feed your pugapoo twice a day. A pugapoo does not have special feeding requirements and is small in stature, weighing anywhere from three to 30 pounds. Play with your pugapoo daily, gently, however, pugapoos have minimal exercise needs.
Train your pugapoo to follow simple commands, but do not become frustrated. Pugapoos have a willful personality because of their high intelligence. Pugapoos can be little comedians, and behave much like humans at times, which many owners find endearing. Pugapoos are also good with children.
Living from 10-12 years, pugapoos will have a long and fruitful life with the proper care and feeding, along with regular checkups and shots by a licensed veterinarian. Pugapoos make excellent pets for the elderly, as these dogs like to be at home and are companionable and quiet.
How to Look After a Pugapoo
A pugapoo is a mixed-breed designer dog; it is a cross between a poodle and a pug. Poodles are very popular for breeding because of their non-shedding coat. This breed of dog has an engaging personality and is good with children. This is an inside dog that does not require a lot of exercise. A pugapoo is medium-sized and does not bark a lot, a plus for apartment or condo dwellers.
