Instructions
Contact an Olde Boston Bulldog breeder. A reputable breeder will invite you to visit and tour her facility, answer all of your questions about the breed and the specific dogs and will provide detailed health, immunization and pedigree records.
Locate a Bulldog rescue organization. Since the Olde Boston Bulldog is a rare breed, you will have to contact a group that rescues Bulldog breeds and inquire on the availability of the breed.
Visit a local animal shelter or contact a local dog adoption agency. Again, this is a rare breed, but you may find one available.
How to Get an Olde Boston Bulldog
If you own an Olde Boston Bulldog, you may be constantly asked if your dog's a Bulldog or a Terrier. Actually, it's a mix of both. The breed originated in the 1800s in Boston when these types were mixed to create a better fighting dog. The Olde Boston Bulldog is small to medium in size, muscular and can weigh up to 40 lbs. It can come in a variety of colors. Like other Bulldogs, it's an intelligent, playful and loyal breed. There are a few ways you can bring home your own Olde Boston Bulldog.
