Things You'll Need
- Bandana
- Dog hair dye or clip-in extensions
- "Scene" style garment
Instructions
Purchase a bandana in a bright, bold color such as red, blue, purple, yellow or orange. Bandanas worn around the arm, neck or forehead are popular with scene styles and are an easy way to transfer that style to your dog. Tie the bandana around your pooch's neck so that it hangs loosely in a relaxed way. For small dogs, you may need to cut the bandana in half so that it is not too big for your little dog's neck.
Use dog hair dye in a color such as pink, blue or red to dye a few tufts of hair atop your dog's head. Follow all instructions that accompany dye stringently to ensure you don't cause harm to your canine's hair or skin. If your dog has dark hair consider purchasing clip in hair extensions from your local beauty supply store and trimming them down to your dog's hair length. Dog dye can be found at pet supply stores.
Purchase a garment for your dog to wear to go with his bandana and new edgy hair color. Examples of scene garment ideas are band T-shirts, vintage shirts, funky animal prints or consider bold colored tutus (scene girls can be seen wearing these with jeans or T-shirts). Head to local thrift stores to find garments that are cheap and can be worn by your pooch.
