How Do I Dye My Puppy's Hair Pink?

A puppy is most certainly not a fashion accessory; that is something which must be noted from the outset. Yet, there are circumstances - such as for a fun costume or for a party you are hosting - when it may be appropriate to dye the hair of your puppy. If this is the case then you could have your cute puppy sporting a new pink look, with no danger to their health.

Instructions

Mix the pink food coloring together in a bowl with some cold, fresh water, using your gloved hands. You will quickly see the mix become pink in color.

Choose your method of application. If you are planning to dye a large puppy, then place the mix into a spray bottle. If the puppy is very small, then simply place the mix in an empty basin and allow the puppy to thrash around in the basin. Use a comb to make sure the dye is worked fully into the fur.

Encourage your puppy to sit still -- which is easier said than done -- on some newspaper, while the dye dries. You don't want the puppy running all over the house, staining your carpet. To speed up the process you could use a blow dryer on a light setting.
