Things You'll Need
- Photo of the pet
Instructions
Position a large color photo of your pet at the top of the flier. Use one with a lot of detail. If your pet has any distinguishing marks on its body, include photos of those.
Write your pet's name in large letters just below the photo. This should be the largest text on the flier. You want your pet's name to be remembered so that it can be called out if someone spots the animal.
Write a description of your pet below the name. Include any distinguishing features, especially if you do not have photos to include. Add information on where and when your pet was last seen.
Include any information about medical attention that your pet might need.
List your contact information, with your phone number and email address. For safety, do not print your street address; you may also want to omit your name.
Offer a reward if you can, but do not specify the amount on the flier. Instead, simply write "Reward offered."
Repeat your pet's name, your name and contact information on small, tear-off tabs along the side of the flier. This will allow people to keep your information and contact you if they find your pet.
