Instructions
Get the puppies vaccinated and keep them well-fed to maintain their health as you search for a home for them. Keep the vaccination records so you can show them to potential buyers and provide them to whoever takes the puppy home.
Take up-close photos of each puppy. The whole body of the puppy should be visible in the shot so it's obvious you're not trying to hide anything.
Type up an ad for the puppies stating their breed, age, gender and vaccination information. Include an asking price for each puppy. Always ask for at least $50 to help eliminate people who would just take the puppies and abuse or sell them. The adoption fee helps bring more selective buyers who are more likely to look after the best interests of the puppy. Place a headline at the top of the ad that specifically says "puppies."
Attach the photos of each puppy in the ad.
Post the ad in online classified advertisements, local pet shelter sites that allow ad posting and other local sites, such as a veterinarian's office or a pet supply store. Include a phone number or e-mail address so you can be reached by prospective buyers.
Interview each possible buyer and let them interact with the puppy to see how the puppy reacts to him and to verify the buyer could provide a good home for the puppy.
How to Market and Advertise Puppies Online
Puppies are very frequently in demand as pets. Many people prefer to get their dog as a pup than when he is already several years old. Puppy litters are usually simple to market to either find the puppies a good home or to sell them as a for-profit breeder. Marketing and advertising puppies online is a quick way to get the dogs seen by a large number of people, but care should be used to ensure that only good homes end up adopting the animals.
