How to Register Dog Tags

Registering your dog is important, especially if it's lost or stolen. When your dog is registered, it is given a specific number for tracking. The documentation provided by registering your dog provides proof of ownership with your dog's name, breed and birth date. Proof of registration for your dog must be provided if you find your dog at an animal shelter.
