How to Get Rid of Fleas on Dogs and in the Home

Fleas on your dog can make life miserable, not only for your dog, but for you as well. Fleas can quickly infest your home and feed off of you and your family as well as other pets. But getting flea free is easy, now that there are flea systemics available over-the-counter or through your veterinarian. Flea systemics work by regulating the growth of the fleas and killing adult fleas. Eggs are unable to hatch and young fleas are unable to mature to feed and breed, thus breaking the lifecycle. Most veterinarians and Internet supply stores carry systemics, such as Biospot, Frontline, Program and Advantage.
