Chow Food Bar
-
For many years, Chow Food Bar has stayed on the list of the top 100 Bay Area restaurants. There are actually two locations; one in the Castro called Chow Church, with another in the sunset district known as Park Chow. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available during the week, while brunch, lunch and dinner are served on the weekends. Both Park Chow and Chow Church boast of being traditional San Francisco fare, in that they are heavily influenced by Italian and Asian cuisine. On top of this, it emphasizes organic and locally-grown ingredients, making its menus as unique as it is environmentally-conscious. Dogs are welcome to dine with their owners on the outdoor patios.
