Mix a solution of water and plain vinegar to clean up messes on linoleum and hardwood floors. Add three parts water to one part vinegar in a large bucket. Use a mop to spread the liquid solution to the floor. Clean up and let dry.

    • 2

Throw rugs, bedding and clothing that have been marked with pee into the washer. Pour 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar into the washing machine and run as normal. The smell completely vanishes and the apple cider vinegar does no damage to your fabrics.

Soak up pee with paper towels or an old rag. Combine three parts water and one part vinegar; drench the pee spot. Blot the spot with a new rag or paper towel. Once the carpet has dried completely, sprinkle the area with baking soda. Combine 1 tsp. liquid dish detergent with 3/4 c. hydrogen peroxide (3 percent). Slowly add the solution over top of the baking soda. Work into the area with a brush and allow to dry. Vacuum the spot away.

Put down pee pads around the areas that your dog continues to make mistakes on.

Keep your pup outside for an extended period of time to monitor her behavior. Once she pees, allow her back in the house and give her a treat to reinforce the behavior.
