Instructions
Take your pug's measurements. You should measure around her middle, as well as the length of both her back and stomach. You should also measure the her legs are in the general measurement of her back. Remember to also measure her legs; you will not need the length of them, but you will need their circumference.
Create a pattern for a shirt for your pug. Keep in mind that he is much rounder than a person, so the shirt should be wider than you'd make for a person with the same measurements.
Cut out cloth along the pattern that you have created.
Hold the cloth up to your dog--don't put pins in it and have him try it on, she can't hold still like a person can. Make sure that you have left room for her all around, and that the shirt will be loose fitting.
Sew the pug shirt in the same way that you would sew a shirt for a person. However, sew each seam twice, including the neck and cuff lines.
Use elastic around the cuffs and neck.
Put the finished shirt on your pug!
