Sweep or vacuum your hardwood floor, removing all the visible dog hairs whenever you begin to notice the hair. If your dog is molting or generally sheds plenty of hair, you might need to do this every day.
Fill a bucket with warm water and add 1/2 cup white vinegar once a week to mop your hardwood floor, picking up the fine dog hairs. This mild vinegar solution also helps to dissolve greasy or sticky film that can form on hardwood floors.
