How long shoukld poodle puppies stay with mom?

The ideal amount of time for a poodle puppy to stay with its mother is about 8 to 12 weeks. During this time, the puppy will benefit from its mother's milk, which provides essential nutrients and antibodies, as well as from learning important social and survival skills from the mother and siblings (such as learning not to bite when playing). As the puppy approaches 12 weeks of age, it can gradually receive supplemental or replacement foods so that it ultimately starts weaning off mom's milk, thus preparing the way for adoption by owners to continue feeding and taking care of it.
