Can African Wild Dogs be pets?

No. It is extremely challenging to domesticate any species. Even in cases where generations of work have put towards domesticating species (e.g. dogs,) many still retain some behaviors from their wild predecessors. There have not been significant efforts of domesticating wild African Dogs, in addition, they are also protected animals in their environments which make them off-limits as domesticated animals.
