Do all dogs have to swim?

Not all dogs have to swim. Some breeds, such as Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers, are known for their love of water and their strong swimming abilities. However, other breeds, such as Bulldogs and Basset Hounds, are not natural swimmers and may need to be trained to swim or may never learn to swim at all. Additionally, some individual dogs within a breed may not enjoy swimming, even if their breed is generally considered to be good swimmers.
