Do German Shepherds see in color or black and white?
Dogs have color vision that is similar to humans with red-cone color blindness, but dogs are not completely color blind. Dogs have "dichromatic vision," which means that they can only see two colors, similar to the red and green cones in the human eye. Dogs can discriminate between yellow, blue, and violet colors, but they see red, orange, and green as different shades of yellow.
