How do German shepherds have babies?
German shepherds, like all other dogs, reproduce sexually. When a male German shepherd mates with a female German shepherd, the male deposits his sperm into the female's reproductive tract. The sperm then travels to the female's ovaries, where it fertilizes the eggs. The fertilized eggs then implant in the female's uterus, where they develop into puppies. The gestation period for German shepherds is approximately 63 days, after which the female will give birth to a litter of puppies.
