How to Be a Dog Food Sponsor

If you can't adopt a dog due to health or financial reasons, but you still want to help pets in shelters, you can become a dog food sponsor. You can help by making a financial contribution or simply donate canned food to your shelter of choice. A small financial effort can make a great difference in the life of a pet. Six to eight million cats and dogs enter shelters each year, according to the Humane Society of the United States, and approximately half of these pets don't find homes and are euthanized.

Choose the method of payment. You may write a check and send it or take it to the shelter personally or you may give your credit card details and the organization will charge the indicated amount monthly.
